Jim is the firm’s founder and Managing Director. For over 30 years he has advised businesses, executives, and retirees on complex investment, tax, estate, and accounting matters. Jim provides the strategic vision of the firm, oversees technical matters, and has an active role in the firm’s investment committee. As a Certified Public Accountant, Jim has comprehensive knowledge of multiple financial subjects Jim’s investment expertise includes serving on an Investment Advisory Committee of a national financial service provider of tax and accounting professionals. It was there that he helped developed an investment process that is used today. Jim has an accounting degree from The Ohio State University where he was a member of TBDBITL, the OSU Marching Band. After receiving his degree from OSU he went on to receive his Masters in Taxation from Capital University. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner™, and has various securities and insurance licenses. He is also a member of the Worthington Estate Planning Council. Jim is active with several Central Ohio charities. He resides in Powell with his wife Cheryl and has three adult children Carrie, Josh, and Jeff.
